Kansas City, MO – Andrea Bough, an attorney and former local small business owner, received more than 60% in today’s Municipal General Election for Kansas City’s 6th District At-Large City Council seat. “I am truly humbled by the voters’ confidence in my candidacy and I commit to serve through inclusion, transparency and accountability,” said Bough.

She said, “I look forward to bringing neighborhood voices to City Hall to be included in the conversation as we work
to tackle these issues facing Kansas City.”
Bough’s campaign highlighted her experience and leadership as an attorney, specializing in land use, and her work with local governments. Bough has been active in the Kansas City community through various charitable and civic organizations over the last 20 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and their two children. She is an active member of their church and an avid sports fans.
Andrea Bough credits her campaign team, a positive campaign message, widespread local support, volunteers, and her family’s unwavering support as key parts of tonight’s win. “The support of my family, friends and supporters, the campaign team, and running a positive campaign was a crucial part of tonight’s victory. I am thankful to everyone who is a part of this team and to the voters for believing in my candidacy and vision for Kansas City. I look forward to serving Kansas City.”
